Ron Arad est ce navigateur de l'armée de l'air israélienne disparu au cours d'une mission le 16 octobre 1986. Capturé par la milice shiite Amal il est « vendu » au début de l'année 1989 aux Iraniens installés au Liban et est détenu en violation des droits de l'homme les plus élémentaires.
Ron Arad n'a pas donné signe de vie depuis fin 1987. Sa fille Youval ne connaît pas son père. Elle l'appelle continuellement et espère tous les soirs qu'un miracle se produira et que son papa viendra l'embrasser. C'est dur pour une petite fille de 13 ans d'ignorer tout de son père? C'est dur pour un père de ne pouvoir serrer sur son c?ur sa petite fille.
Ron Arad aura quarante ans le 5 mai 1998. Depuis plus de 11 ans, plus d'un quart de sa vie, il est retenu prisonnier et ceux qui le détiennent violent toutes les lois internationales même les plus rudimentaires. Mobilisons-nous afin qu'il puisse retrouver la liberté et embrasser sa famille. Agissons auprès de nos gouvernants, auprès de nos hommes politiques, auprès des décideurs d'opinions, auprès des chefs d'entreprises qui commercent avec l'Iran et le Liban auprès des gouvernements de Téhéran et de Beyrouth afin d'obtenir la liberté pour Ron Arad.

The 5th of May 1998, will be the fortieth birthday of Ron Arad.
Ron Arad is this navigator of the Israeli Air Force who disappeared during a mission on the 16th of October 1986. Captured by the Shiite Militia Amal, he bas been "sold" in early 1989 to the Iranians in Lebanon and since than is being held POW in violation of the most elementary human rights.
Ron Arad has give no sign of life since the end of 1987. His daughter Youval does not know her father, all the time she calls for him and every evening she hopes that a miracle will occur and that her father will corne and kiss her. It is hard for a little girl of 13 years to ignore everything about her father? It is hard for a father not to be able to hug his child to him.
Ron Arad will be 40 this 5th of May 1998. Since more than eleven years, more than a quarter of bis life, he is been held prisonner of war and those who detain him violate the most elementary international laws.
Let's mobilize to obtain his liberation 50 that he cuuld be able to kiss his family. Let's act towards our leaders, our politicians, decisions makers, businessmen who are trading with Iran and Lebanon, and the governments of Teheran and Beirut to obtain the release of Ron ARAD.
