I wish to thank you for your kind thoughts and condolences on the parting of my beloved father Joseph (Zouzou) Rahmani. My dear departed dad led a fruitful, charitable and fulfillng life, having achieved in his 82 years, respect and recognition of all the people around him..
He brought his brothers, their families and his mother our of Egypt to the Belgian Congo and then to South Africa where he founded the Cape Town Sephardic Congregation and was named lifetime President.
He retired to Toronto, Canada, where his spent his last sixteen years close to his daughter and son in North America. On Friday October 16, at 4:30 p.m. he passed on peacefully in the comfort of his own home with the presence of his wife Sara and daughter Rose. His brother Edmond who resides in Sea Point, Cape Town, mourns him.
He will be sadly missed and remembered by all whom were close to him.
May he rest in Peace. Amen!
